The Maryland House of Delegates voted today 93-44 to repeal last year’s amendment of the Maryland Sales and Use Tax Law subjecting information technology services, such as software support and maintenance, integration services, custom software product development, and other “computer services” to Maryland’s recently increased 6% sales tax.  The vote of the House of Delegates follows the vote on Friday, April 4, 2008 of the Maryland Senate repealing the tax.
